Aligning Our Plans with God's Purpose

Hey, what's happening, family? We’re back at it like we never left. It's Wisdom Wednesday, Kingdom Conversations, so let’s get right into it. Today, we’re diving into

Proverbs 19:21:

"Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails."

Redefining Our Desires

Today is going to be a day like no other. I already feel in the Spirit that the Lord is going to redefine the way we look at the things we desire to do. Everything we want to achieve will start to align with what He wants for us.

When scripture says, "many are the plans in a person's heart," it's speaking directly to those of us with a laundry list of tasks, assignments, plans, and ideas that we haven’t executed. We struggle, procrastinate, and stumble because many of our desires don’t align with God’s purposes.

A Day of Transformation

But I’m excited because today is a day like no other. Today, our desires will align with God’s purpose, and we will see His plans prevail. This is what the Word promises us.

Releasing Our Plans for His

If you take away one thing from this devotional, let it be this: release your plans so God can give you His. Remember, "many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails."

A Prayer for Alignment

Let’s pray together for this transformation:

Father God,

We pray right now in the mighty name of Jesus that everything out of alignment in us would come into alignment with You. We pray that every plan, thought, idea, emotion, and desire we have, we would submit and surrender before Your throne of grace. Open us up this morning, Father God, to receive a deeper understanding and revelation of who we are in You and what You have purposed us to do. Help us live every day beyond this moment in Your divine will.

We thank You, we love You, and we praise You for this.

In Jesus' name,

Amen
